The Porotherm clay block system is a monolithic wall structure, so no cavity just solid wall. Use these poroton blocks for your external wall where the thermal performance is important. Used from DPC (damp-proof course) up to roof plate level and also for gables. Available block sizes (wall thickness): 240mm, 300mm, 365mm, 425mm, 490mm. All block sizes available with or without integrated mineral wool insulation.
Porotherm 300 T9 Unfilled Poroton Building Block – 60/Pallet
External wall for bungalow or multi storey house. It will need minimum 70mm external insulation to achieve the current building regulation (U-value 0.18W/m2K). With 100mm external insulation it will provide an U-value of 0.15W/m2K.
