Porotherm lintels are available with our system. External and internal lintels with the special clay shells, concrete fills reinforced with steel make a perfect lintel above openings.
Coming precasted in quarter meters from the factory. Available sizes (length): 1m, 1.25m, 1.5m, 1.75m, 2m, 2.25m, 2.5m.
Every lintel needs 150mm bearing on each side. For example: 1m lintel need 300mm bearing and are suitable for 700mm or smaller openings.
External Poroton Porotherm Clay Lintels 300mm
The main difference between internal lintels and external lintels is the thermal break in the external lintel. The insulation inside over the whole length of the lintel between the two concrete fillings avoids any cold bridge. Porotherm lintels are available with our system.
